Equities and FICC Management is seeking an Associate/Vice President who
will be responsible for infrastructure and management reporting both
regularly and on an ad hoc basis, expense management, and involvement in
various topics/issues related to the business expansion. The role
requires a general understanding of the Securities related businesses.

Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure issues (i.e., floor moves, market data, and technology)

- Interact on regular basis with senior management

The associate of this group will focus on analyzing the control
framework supporting the production of regulatory reports. This is
accomplished by working with the business, operations, compliance and IT
managers to improve and maintain the quality of regulatory reports.

Specific tasks includes:
- Proactively assisting the business, operations, compliance, and IT
management in understanding the impact of strategic business initiatives
on regulatory reporting;
- Analyzing the distributed workflow front to back to identify the rood
cause of reporting inconsistencies;
- Conducting deep dive reviews into the reporting infrastructure;
- Recommending infrastructure improvements; and
- Developing recommendations for process control improvements

Corporate Reporting is one of the functional departments in Controllers.
It mainly engages in preparing the Firm’s financial statements by
entity under generally accepted accounting principles in Japan and
compiles financial information for inclusion in the firm’s consolidated
statements in accordance with US GAAP. It works to ensure that the
financial position and results of the individual entities and the
consolidated group properly reflect the Firm’s activities.

Responsibilities:
- Assist control function of financial reporting, working closely with
other O&F departments
- Ensuring the financial reporting is of high quality and meets
applicable accounting principles and regulations
- Contribute to Monthly/Quarterly/Semi-annual/Annual closing of
securities broker and dealer entity under J GAAP / US GAAP
- Contribute to various regulatory business reports and new corporate
law financial statements,

1.Work on all stages of software development cycle including: analysis,
design, development, testing, installation and maintenance of
information systems.

2.Interface with users and other developers to determine the most
efficient and cost-effective approach to meet business requirements.

3.Drive forward and implement regional specific developments and
contribute to the global development effort.

- Advise business & technology users on (1) adoption of secure and
resilient solutions available, (2) understanding of relevant Technology
Risk policies and standards and (3) principles of security & controls as
defined by the firm’s Technology Risk and Control Framework.
- Perform risk assessments to identify gaps in compliance to information
security & BCP standards and policies, for both internal technology
solutions as well as solutions provided by third-party service
providers.
- Work with business users and technology counterparts in the region and
the global Technology Risk team to provide recommendations to mitigate
critical and high priority issues identified as part of the risk
assessment process.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of global, regional and local
regulatory requirements that have a technology impact, in order to
conduct internal self-assessments and gap analysis to ensure compliance.

- Participate in global, regional and local Technology Risk initiatives
aimed at improving our baseline on information protection, resiliency
and controls of technology processes and services.
- Participation in the development, review and communication of
information security and BCP policies and standards as well as
supporting the firm’s effort during regulatory and other external
audits.
- Work with Business Continuity Coordinators in all business and
Technology groups across the Asia region to provide structure and
guidance on their BCP plans and recovery strategies.
- Provide clear and concise verbal and written recommendations and
guidance to both business and technology staff on matters of Technology
Risk Management.
- Promote and assist with the Local Security Coordinator program within
the region as well as with the initiatives driven by the Technology
Compliance and Control Working Group.

utilizing a distributed RV-based messaging protocol (java and web based)

・ Work closely with other members of the development team to ensure the
stability of the production environment

Work with different areas of Operations to identify and document
workflow, use of Technology, risks and issues, partner with Technology
to identify opportunities, define and pursue short-term and strategic
solutions.

support the department’s core business processes - Authoring,
Publishing, Distribution, CRM, Compliance, and Reporting. The Asia
branch of this team focuses on requirements gathering, user acceptance
testing, ongoing product ownership, and planning for technology projects
within Pan-Asia including Japan and Hong Kong as its primary hubs.

While the core development and initial planning is coordinated in North
America, the Asia branch team manages the localization and project
planning to deliver high quality systems that suit the needs of our
Analyst clients in Pan-Asia. This includes working extensively with
colleagues in the business unit, IT support, training, market data, and
senior management.

This role requires a candidate with a strong background in
technology-based project management and keen interest in understanding
the Research business model. The ideal candidate would have spent part
of his/her career as a Technology oriented Business Analyst focused on
complex business processes and technology solutions. The successful
candidate will be self-driven, able to manage multiple projects, have
good English communication skills, and good teamwork mentality.

- Integration of different components into existing environment,
commonly referred as Trading environment
- To work with many upstream/downstream applications and system to make
changes as requested by the system owners or Equity business units
- Manage/maintain back-end infrastructure in both QA and production
environment
- Co-ordination amongst different integration team, Unix, market data

UNIX Systems Administrator to manage a large enterprise level
environment

- full development cycle (requirements gathering, designing,

- 2nd level support for local application users and night streams for
desks in America and Europe

This position requires a person who is confident with all aspects of
UNIX (Linux, Solaris etc.) environments, from the command-line, to how
processes interact with each other via the shell, IPC, memory and other
means. A good knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols in general is
needed as well, as well as confidence in programming. Good shell and/or
perl scripting skills are needed, and knowledge of SQL and databases
would be a major benefit. General interest in related fields (and
ability to demonstrate skills learnt) will be a big plus.
